MILA

Mila is a little Jack Russell female who stands 7cm tall

made from Sassy longpile velvet and tan ultrasuede.  Her collar is suede and beaded

this little darling is the length of my baby finger

jointed head allowing her to turn her head from side to side

unjointed body with an internal armature .  She stands firmly on the ground

Mila is firmly filled with polyfibre.

She looks forward to finding her new home.

Tigger

3.5 inches (9 centimeters)

Tigger is made from Sassy longpile velvets which I have handshaded.

He has an unjointed body so he remains in a sitting position. He does have a jointed head allowing him to turn his head from side to side.

Punkin

      Punkin is a newborn wild cat who loves to sleep .

  Made from Schulte faux fur in a rich brown with pale tips.

                               

  Here he shows off his luxurious coat and punky hairdo

 Punkin's features have been fashioned from needlesculpting and extensive scissoring.

 Large bright eyes give him an endearing look and his little nose has been crafted from  Apoxy - Sculpt which has been sanded, painted and sealed

He has been firmly filled with polyfibre and steel shot for weight. 

5ways jointed .

        He can stand but is still a bit wobbly - he needs his bushy tail to help him balance.  

    He prefers to be carried !

     

   He measures 14 cms high ( 5,5 inches) when standing. His limbs  and ears are Sassy Longpile velvet in a contrasting beige colour.  His markings are from handshading with oils.  

                

 Punkin is starting to look sleepy again!  Better put him back to bed.

Pearl - Teacup Piglet

                     Pearl is a pink teacup piglet.  3,5 inches long from snout to curly tail
                                                    Only 1.5 inches high.

                      Made from pale pink Sassy longpile velvet.  Inner ears of Ultrasuede.

 

 

                           4 ways jointed which allows Pearl to sit and stand with ease.

             I used a soft Sassy longpile velvet in 2 shades.   Inner ears are ultrasuede

 Five ways jointed, Puglet sits, stands and lie down with ease.  His black eyes are German glass and his nose has been crafted from Apoxy Sculpt, then sanded, painted and sealed.
                              Firmly filled with polyfibre and some steel shot.

Nandi is a miniature Bull Terrier

Cotter pin and string jointed
White premium plush and pale pink ultrasuede
Nandi's nose was fashioned from Apoxy-Sculpt,  sanded , painted and sealed.
She is a regal bull terrier and sports a blingy, beaded, leopard-print collar.

Hedgehog Online Course

Katya Bespalova is my favourite soft sculpture artist.   She is offering an online course to make this gorgeous hedgehog. 

Her online courses are easy to follow, although some previous teddy-making  experience will be of assistance.  Accurate and explicit instructions and video clips are given to help you, and Katya is on hand to answer any questions that are posed to her.   It genuinely feels like you are in Novosirbirsk in her classroom and I can highly recommend any of her courses.
