Monty is an English bulldog. Despite his ferocious appearance he was bred to be affectionate and kind with a sweet and loving disposition.

......the one with the waggly tail |
|
A one-of-a-kind collectible that loves to accompany you wherever you go |
He stands 6,5cms tall and has a thick-set, low-slung body. His short-muzzled
head is massive and square. I have made him as true to breed standards as possible and he has broad shoulders and chest, with
sturdy limbs.

Monty loves food and watches the cats with pleading eyes.
His
rear end is narrower than his massive chest. He has a screw shape tail.
The materials chosen were longpile Sassy velvet in tan and white, grey
Ultrasuede for pawpads and pale rose suede for underparts of his ears
You
often find him in his basket , circling , messing up his blanket, till
he finds just the right position.......and then settles down to sleep
and snore!
Monty appears to have
soft, loose skin, covered with heavy wrinkles and he has two loose
folds at the throat
(from the jaw to the chest) to form what's called a dewlap. This effect
was created by hundreds of minute needle stitches which sculpted the
shapes and folds I wanted.
He has black English glass eyes , small ears
with rosy undersides. His nose has been sculpted and sanded, painted and
sealed. His body is unjointed but has internal armature. Stuffed very
firmly with polyfibre and steel shot, giving him a solid and weighty
stature.
Exploring his turf with Lily
He is a gentle companion and loves cats.
Asleep, all paws in the air, Monty shows off his hand embroidered pads, his tiny Eddybare label and his hand embroidered, beaded collar.

Monty is looking for his new home |
These blog sites should be able to add music. Maybe they can and maybe I'm just ignorant as to how to incorporate it.......so the bottom line is.......you need to be humming or singing this song as you scroll down the images. OK?

How much is that doggie in the window (woof, woof) The one with the waggley tail How much is that doggie in the window (woof, woof) I do hope that doggie's for sale
I must take a trip to California And leave my poor sweetheart alone If he has a dog he won't be lonesome And the doggie will have a good home
How much is that doggie in the window (woof, woof) The one with the waggley tail How much is that doggie in the window (woof, woof) I do hope that doggie's for sale
I read in the papers there are robbers (woof, woof) With flashlights that shine in the dark My love needs a doggie to protect him And scare them away with one bark
I don't want a bunny or a kitty I don't want a parrot that talks I don't want a bowl of little fishies He can't take a goldfish for a walk
How much is that doggie in the window (woof, woof) The one with the waggley tail How much is that doggie in the window (arf, arf) I do hope that doggie's for sale |
